- There is an easy solution to that prob which I employ. I found that when
- formatting a partition on my HD with the ZIP attached, the Zip would sometimes
- hang my system and stuff things up for me royally.

- I also found, at another time, that if I just cd to the root of the disk in the
- ZIP drive, the drive spins again, no probs. So, all I do is rung a CRON prog
- that I have to use for my BBS anyway and I just dir the Zip disk every 2
- minutes with output redirected >NIL: so as not to interfere with anything else.

- Maybe you shouldnt HAVE to do this and it is annoying but the fact remains it
- *HAS* to be done to make the system run without interference.
